Preparing for Spring in Bayport

While we are still in the thick of winter, some businesses are getting ready for a busy spring ahead. The beautiful St. Croix River is just a few blocks away from this month’s featured project in Bayport, MN: Mabel’s Ice Cream Shop. Home to a rotating selection of 24 ice creams, this shop is a favorite with locals and visitors alike.

Situated along the main drag, near a school, park and other local businesses, Mabel’s gets a fair amount of foot traffic in the warmer months. In fact, they have a walk up window so folks don’t have to worry about going inside for their treat (especially helpful if pets are in tow).

With the hopes of providing some coverage for their walk up patrons, Mabel’s contacted Acme Awning to help. The solution is this custom awning that fits perfectly on the wall above the order and pick up windows. The brown canvas and colorful logo on the awning mimic the Mable’s Ice Cream Shop brand, providing easy recognition for those walking or driving by. While snow might be in the way of walk up window right now, their opening date of April 1st will be here before we know it!
