Large Entrance Canopy – Lake Minnetonka Shores

Acme Awning works on jobs both big and small, and recently had the opportunity to build and install a rather large entrance canopy over the main driveway at the Lake Minnetonka Shores community. Stretching out nearly 30 feet to cover the full drive, and spanning about 16 feet over the entrance doors, this project requires sufficient support to ensure a safe and stable canopy.

The sturdy steel frame is supported by four custom posts that are powder coat painted black, providing a nice finished look. The address is clear and visible for guests and deliveries, with height restrictions included to prevent damage to the canopy or tall vehicles. Overall, the canopy has a low profile and does not overpower the façade of the building. Nor does it block the views of the residents on the second floor.
