Aluminum Canopies & Sunshades

Acme Awning Co. is the most experienced manufacturer of custom canvas awnings and canopies in the Twin Cities Metro and surrounding communities. We have been designing and building commercial and residential awnings since the 1930’s. While we have long been known for our high-quality canvas products, Acme Awning also offers an array of metal solutions. Recently, we expanded our product offerings to include commercial-grade aluminum canopies.

As with all the products we offer, these are fully customizable and built to your exacting specifications. The canopies and their components are constructed with high-quality parts that are all aluminum, providing a rust-free, low-maintenance solution that will last. These canopies are engineered to handle snow loads, rain, wind and sun and arrive fully assembled. In addition to protecting people and sidewalks from the elements, commercial metal canopies also help to reduce heating and cooling costs inside the building.

The commercial metal canopies are offered with adjustable arms (hanging rods) or can be cantilevered (internally supported without adjustable arms). For a weather-tight finish the canopy can be made with self-mating flat soffit pans. For a fixed louver sunshade, we offer a canopy with 4″x1″ air foils. Customizations include fascia height, built in lights, various design features and powder coat paint colors.
