Custom Entrance Canopy

Acme Awning manufactures custom awnings at their Minneapolis location, which allows for an expert level of customization and personalization. When Bibles for Missions rebranded in 2023 to its current name — Legacy Thrift — the Crystal, MN location needed to update their entrance canopy. They also wanted to freshen up the overall look of their building. Instead of just getting a new cover for their existing canopy, they contacted Acme Awning to see what could be done to update the look while using the existing supports.

We worked with Legacy Thrift to provide options that would give them the desired updated look, reuse existing supports, and feature the new brand all while keeping costs down (they are a non-profit, after all). The winning solution features two awning styles combined: a traditional shed or style-A awning along the facade and a hip canopy over the sidewalk. The front crown showcases the new Legacy Thrift logo, as well. The new awning uses the existing supports and will last for many years to come.
