This month we have a great Before & After project to share. February marks the re-opening of Simply Jane & ArtAble, a local non-profit arts education center providing arts programming for people of all ages and abilities. During the pandemic, this community-oriented organization had to close its studio space. After successful fundraising and generous donations, they are ready to open their doors once again.

Their new location, 3805 Cedar Avenue South in Minneapolis, was previously home to a candy store and gift shop. As a non-profit, they needed to find a way to make affordable facade improvements that included cost effective signage and a fresh look. Acme Awning was able to help bring their vision to life. A two-color awning with a purple roof cloth and green valance is eye-catching, and the white logo is prominent and easy for passers-by to see. The final result: a unique, fun exterior to accompany the warm and welcoming interior studio.
